Hello! My name is Janie Carlson, and I am going into my third year at UF. My major is Health Education and Behavior, however, I was a pre-nursing student. I am also minoring in Disabilities in Society. I wanted take part in this study abroad class because I was really interested in learning about nursing in the UK as well as understanding the differences between the UK's health care and our own. Traveling is one of my biggest passions because I feel that it gives you experiences that you will remember and learn from for years to come!

When I am not studying or traveling, I am leading a ministry on campus called Delight, participating in my sorority called Theta Alpha, nannying, and going to the many sport events that UF offers. I look forward to what my college education does to help me make a difference in my community and the world.
